One of the things I was looking for with Obama’s VP pick was how their philosophy on these issues would match up with Senator Obama’s. One of my concerns was that if a VP was chosen who had a differing view on energy, then that would be one more voice in Obama’s ear to push misguided energy policy, and waffling climate policy. I’m happy that Biden is the choice, he was my 2nd favorite candidate behind Obama in the Democratic primary, although he dropped out fairly quickly. This man gets it when it comes to energy, he is Energy Smart. Here are a couple of sources that give an idea of how Biden will advise Obama when it comes to climate change and alternative energy.
