There is a good article in the post on Frank Kratovil starting his first term as Congressman.  I worked to help get Kratovil elected this past year, so keeping tabs on him is a point of interest.

  1. Kravotil has a pretty poor record so far – more regressive than progressive. See: http://thatsmycongress.com/house/repKratovilMD1111.html

    • Frank Kratovil is a Democrat in a predominately conservative Congressional District that went 60-40 for McCain in 2008. I would much rather have him in there than a conservative republican who votes down every measure. I’m primarily concerned about Kratovil’s votes on clean energy and environmental issues. He voted for the final version of the stimulus bill which had nearly $100 billion in green investment, and he voted for the American Clean Energy and Security Act climate bill despite it being a risky vote considering his constituency. That’s good enough for my support.

Here’s his LCV score versus Roscoe Bartlett, the only Republican in MD
